WorleeAqua Thix 100WorleeAqua Thix 100 is typically used at levels from 2-10% as supplied. It works with active surfactant levels from 5-30%. The highest clarity is achieved between pH 6-9. Depending on the formulation, it can be used from pH 4-11. WorleeAqua Thix 100 is cold water soluble and builds viscosity upon neutralisation with a suitable organic or inorganic base. The pH can subsequently be reduced if desired, and the yield value and suspension properties actually increase below pH6. Superior performance to Carbopol Aqua SF-1 and SF-2 The first question we are always asked is how it compares to the Carbopol Aqua SF grades (Lubrizol). WorleeAqua Thix 100 performs well where both Carbopol Aqua SF grades have weaknesses: vs. Carbopol Aqua SF-1 - Aqua Thix 100 is stronger in sulphate surfactant systems. - Aqua Thix 100 has stronger thickening at low-medium surfactant content (6-13%). - Aqua Thix 100 has a stronger stabilisation effect in SLES/CAPB-Systems. vs. Carbopol Aqua SF-2 - Aqua Thix 100 allows clear gels at pH <6, whereas Carbopol Aqua SF-2 is pH 6.4. - Aqua Thix 100 offers stabilising and viscosity build below pH 6, unlike Carbopol Aqua SF-2.
